I am sure you saw me and Kathryn at the memorial today. It was a chance for me to keep you up to date with whats going on down here at the moment. It was very peaceful and comforting.
A year has flown by but as always you are there to keep me on the straight and narrow!!

Dear Family and Friends,
I am so very sorry for your loss. What a beautiful angel she will be. I know the pain that you are going through. I lost my son almost 3 years ago. He is also in VM (Brian DeAngelis). I'm sure that our children are now watching over us and protecting us every day. Please know that you are in my prayers.

I was visiting amber kottwitz memorial page and saw this one write underneath it and decided just to take a look...once I read the story thatshe died from a brain tumor it brought tears to my eyes..my mom died from a brain tumor in 2001. It seems like more and more people are affected by cancer. I know it's so hard to watch a loved one deteroirate right before us!

To Joanne's mom and family,
I gathered from reading Joanne's guestbook that she died due to a brain tumor. It makes me so sad that we are loosing our loved ones to such a dreadfull disease.
May God keep you and comfort you.
With love from Marcus' mom.

I have never met you Jo, but through your mum I feel as if I've known you forever. I write verses for you, on your mum and dad's special cards to you and although I've never been on this site before tonight, the words I've wrote in your cards, are all virtually on here in different messages from different people. You are certainly a beautiful person and must be the most beautiful angel they has ever been in heaven. Your smile could outshine the brightest shinning star in the whole universe.
All I can say is, that the memories of you will live on forever Jo, as that is something no one can take away. Love Linda xxx

Missing you so much, more and more each day, it just doesnt get any easier. you are in my mind constantly. A hug would cure everything, but its not going to happen, I know.

Dearest Jo, I really cannot believe that a year has almost passed by with you not here. I only got to know you for a short time, but what an absolutely wonderful pleasure it was. Now at peace in heaven as an angel, forever young and beautiful, to light up the sky with your smile and watch over us all. I can still hear your last words to me in my head....but Jo...it's you who looked beautiful, the wonderful photos on this site only confirm that...God bless you, with much love, Michelle XXXXX

Your Jo has a wonderful smile! She is such a pretty angel! It is so hard deal with the birthdays once God has taken them home. Even if we know there isn't anymore pain. My grandmother was taken just before Christmas. That was hard. I'm sure Jo had a wonderful birthday in heaven! As she rests now in the arms of God! May you find peace & comfort in your days. May God be with you & each of your family members. Always thinking of you. Granddaughter of Oma Cooper on Virtual Memorials. Bless You.

Hi Honey, we had a "happy - sad" day yesterday marking your birthday. Went to your memorial first thing in the morning, which I must say, looks beautiful, lots of flowers and cards. Had all the family over = about 30 of us, we toasted your birthday and let go balloons with messages tied to them. you really soared high honey and only one got caught in a tree. we talked about happy times spent with you, which was nice. Love you lots - talk to you again soon. Mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JO - You should be spending this day with all your family and friends, but life just isnt fair is it. We miss you so much and will never get over losing you. We have wonderful, happy memories of our time spent with you, and we will smile again, but not yet. Poppy misses you too and I often find her in your room just lying beside your bed.
I know you are around us all the time and I would do anything in the world just to be able to give you a hug once more and tell you how much you are loved. Sleep gently honey until we meet again. God Bless.

Never a day goes past without seeing you, because your lovely picture is in my cabinet at home surrounded by cream candles.
I've seen your Mum & Dad, and had a glass or 2 of wine with them, bit worried about your Mum's drinking habits !:-)
You are deeply missed, but I'm glad you have no more pain in your short life.

I think of Jo often, I miss her as so many others do.

I cannot believe it is approaching a year since Jo was taken from us all. However as the year has gone by her memory remains as strong as ever. Jo's whole approach to life was a lesson to us all...and continues to be even after her passing. She was extremely kind , caring, and went through her life with that sparkling smile never far away. My family and friends who were lucky enough to meet with or speak to Jo always talk fondly of her and remember some tremendous times we have had.
I will take time out over the coming month to remember Jo..but not with sadness as Jo would simply say 'Stu..pull yourself together'
Keep smiling Jo...love From Stu, Paula, Kathryn and Tom.

I have known Jo for many years and she was a very fun-loving, happy-go-lucky person. Her illness was a shock to me as I thought she had overcome the worst of it. Her passing will be with me forever, as she always pops up in my thoughts and brings back that feeling of 'gone too soon'. Jo was the first real friend that I have lost, and that feeling bears down on me like a lead balloon.
You were and still are loved, Jo. Wherever you are now, I know you're still having fun.
